Books Cover

A book cover is a protective covering used to bind book pages all together. With passage of time further additions and alternatives were introduced for book covers. Back in 19th century books were hand bound & in case of luxury book cover gold sliver materials were used. Sometime book cover is a traditional tribute to their culture. some of modern book cover were produced Soviet Union in the 1920's. All books have covers according to their nature. there are three main section of a book cover which are the front, the spine, the back cover. 

Book covers are categorized in to hardcover and soft cover. In hardcover pages are bind together and glued into a case and covered with cloth. variety of finishes used on paper cover before binding which are

•  creating raised area
•  creating sunken area
•  Varnishing

1-FRONT COVER.

         Front cover is the publisher marketing plan for the book. colors and style will used to position the book according to their niche.

2-SPINE

            In this part of book cover is usually printed with author last name and the title of the book and from this we can identify the author. We can also use author logo in this.
